State Council President promises to fully support UDDHAV to “save democracy, constitution”

Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress President Harshavardhan Sapkal held a meeting with Uddhav Thackeray on Friday and provided his party with support for “save democracy, the constitution and Maharashtra Dharma”. Mr. Sakpal also informed Mr. Thackeray that Congress had asked local leaders to make decisions on local human opinion polls. He said that once the election is notified, the alliance’s partners will sit together to make decisions about the alliance.

The Congress leader said after meeting with Mr Thackeray in his residence “Matoshree” that it was a polite visit, during which several issues were actively discussed. He said: “We are with Shiv Sena to protect democracy, the Constitution and Maharashtra Dharma. Today’s BJP is on the road to religious destruction. BJP opposes democracy and the Constitution.”

Mr. Sapkar also had a discussion on the upcoming elections for local institutions. “Congress has authorized its local leaders to make alliance-related decisions for these elections. Once an official notice is issued, the Allied parties will unite and make corresponding decisions,” he said.

Congress leaders further stated that the great success of Operation Sindor belongs to the Indian armed forces and the entire country is proud of this heroic achievement. However, some dirty leaders of Bharatiya Janata party deliberately made remarks that insulted the Indian army. He asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP NADDA to issue a public apology for the leaders of Madhya Pradesh’s disrespectful remarks to the armed forces.

Mr Sapkar said that the comments by BJP Minister Vijay Shah about Colonel Sofia Qureshi were outrageous and triggered national anger. However, now another BJP leader makes a ridiculous comment that the entire country, the armed forces and soldiers bow at the feet of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Such shameless statements are a serious insult to the heroism, tradition and spirit of the Indian armed forces. The BJP has not taken action against Western Minister Vijay Shah. Why Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and jp nadda remain silent Maharashtra Congress president said.
