Parents celebrate their children’s success by distributing candies, cutting cakes after scoring well or passing exams, enrolling in school or being selected for work. However, the parents of a student in Karnataka cut the cake not because his son passed the exam, but because he failed in the 10th Board of Directors course. Shockingly, a group of parents celebrated their son because of a failure in Karnataka Middle School Leave Certificate (SSLC) or Level 10 exam.

Abhishek Cholachagudda, a 17-year-old student at Basaveshwar English High School in Bagalkot, Karnataka, scored 200 of his 600 points in his Level 10 Board Exam because he failed all six subjects. After scoring only 32%, even as his friends teased him, his father, Yellappa Cholachagudda, turned a different turn instead of scolding him and getting frustrated by the grades, cut the cake and in a celebratory mood.

In the photos of the virus, Abhishek Cholachagudda's parents can be seen feeding his cake. The cake was written on “The 10th result”, “32%” and “200 out of 600 points” to show Abhishek's results. To improve his spirit, his parents said, “You may have failed in the exam, but not in life. You can try again the next time you succeed.” This shows that parents understand that exams are not everything in life, failure and success are just part of it.

Abhishek was also excited by this gesture from his parents and said, “My family encouraged me even if I failed. I will retake the exam, pass the exam and be successful in life.” He added, “My son failed to do it in the exam, but did not have a life. I am glad he got 200 points. I want to give him a message that the whole family is with him.”

When talking about his son’s past, Yellappa Cholachagudda recalls his son’s injuries, which has a huge impact on his memory. When Abhishek was one year old, he suffered a severe burn on his feet. He was shocked, and he lost his memory. Since then, his memory level has been very low. Indeed, he kept researching until 10 classes. “I decided to celebrate and buy two cakes that mentioned his score. We are very happy. I see a lot of graduates sitting at home without work or work. But my son is strong and willing to fight, which means a lot. ” Abishek’s father added.
