Student anxiety symptoms after Telangana Inter results, 100 call Tele Manas

Hyderabad:Tele Manas, a free mental health hotline, received more calls from students after releasing their intermediate test scores on Tuesday. Many students indexed the hotline service hotline and expressed anxiety and disappointment with low scores.

The 24-hour Tele Manas hotline can be found on the 14416 free phone number.

Controllers said they received no suicide calls.

Psychiatrist Dr. Srishanthi said parents also called the hotline on behalf of their children. The counselor helped them calm down and explained other avenues. They also convinced the students to be emotionally strong.

After the results were announced at noon, Tele Manas received about 100 calls Tuesday from 2pm to 4pm, mostly from 2pm to 4pm.

Inside callers, there are some people whose topics fail, while others compare their marks to other topics, counselor T. Gnaneshwar said. “Parents have been talking to us, too, and we advise them not to put pressure on their children,” Gnashwar said.

The counselor advises that students have a lot to do in the future and that mistakes may be corrected. They also provide research plans for supplemental exam months.

“Some students said they called TV magic after seeing the report in Deccan Chronicle,” Gnashwar said.

Senior psychologist P. Jawaharlal Nehru said they are listening to students explain what they are facing, suggesting that they adopt new ways to achieve different results and help them cope. He said parents must encourage students facing crisis.
