Students’ lives are upset about bad scores

A 16-year-old girl ended her life and reportedly scored poorly on the SSLC exam.

The deceased was identified as Arya Nanda, a resident of Hari Padparana.

Thrikkunnapuzha police said the girl was found hanging in her home after the SSLC results were announced on Friday. Officials said she received an A+ in only three subjects.

“We found a note she wrote. She expected a+ to end her life in more subjects,” said an official.

Officials said she was a student of Bethany Balikamadom, Nangiarkulangara, near Haripad.
