Ready to appear, if summoned, will work with ED: Priyanka Gandhi

Congress Secretary-General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was investigated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday for her family, accusing the government of abusing investigative agencies for political purposes. She also said she was ready to appear in front of ED and was “waiting for invitations.”

Priyanka claims Modi took bad advice and the public is aware of the political motivation behind the emergency room action. “My mother, brother and husband have already worked completely with ED. If I were summoned, I would go. What are they waiting for?” she said.

Priyanka was holding a bag with a “National Herald ki loot” on BJP MP MP Bansuri Swaraj, and Priyanka asked sarcastically: “Did she put the trophy in her schoolbag?”

She dismissed the BJP’s allegations of property robbery in the National Herald case, saying: “No one can sell or inherit these assets, not our name. How did that snap up?”

In a repeated inquiry by Robert Vadra, she claimed the agency even asked irrelevant things, such as why he gave Rs 4 lakh to his mother in 2007.

She reiterated that ED was used for “ransomware and political reasons” and that Modi’s strategy “does not work.”
