Himaal government is the most corrupt in Congress: JP NADDA

BJP Chief JP NADDA claimed on Sunday that the Himaal government was “the most corrupt” in the country’s parliamentary government. He claimed at a press conference in Dharamshala that the state’s Congress government has provided a rupee worth ad to the National Herald, which has not been published.

He claimed: “The Himaal government is the most corrupt government in the country’s parliamentary government and ranks the highest in financial mismanagement.”

NADDA claims that the Congressional government led by Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is trying to spread a false narrative in the state that the center has not given it funds and does not care about Himaal.
“If you can’t run the government, please leave it behind, but don’t blame others,” Nada said. He noted various initiatives taken by the central government led by the BJP for the state, including “when AB Vajpayee is the “industrial program” of the prime minister”

Nadda (NADDA) shared details of the funding provided to the state and has allocated a budget of Rs 11,806 crore to developments in Himaal Pradesh this year (2025).

Tax decentralization for 2024-25 is Rs 10,681 crore, of which Rs 89,15 crore is taxed in January 2025 and is aided at Rs 13,285 crore. He said Congress has no role in the development of the country, as well as all projects including AIIM, IIM, IIIT and hydropower engineering. Nada said the Congress government returned to the center and gave the state Rs 2.5 crore to build a medical equipment park. In addition, the state government failed to exploit the release of Rs 225 crore until the Rs 10 crore allocated to the state in 2023, which is a bulk pharmaceutical park.

Nadda’s speculation about his return to the state rests, “I’m in a responsible position and there’s no possibility of returning to the country.”

He said in response to a question that the state BJP president will be elected soon.

Nadda said the ideal region Chamba has made good progress in indicators such as education, infrastructure, agriculture, irrigation and financial inclusion.

He said the center will provide support to improve areas where it performs poorly.

Earlier, the trade union minister participated in a review meeting on the development of the Chamba region.
