Suchitra Ella is responsible for the AP Government’s handloom and craft consultant

Suchitra Ella, co-founder and managing director of Bharat Biotech, is responsible for the Honorary Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Government (GOAP) linked to the development of Handlooms and Handicraft on Friday. She will serve as the cabinet ranking post for two years. According to the official release, Ms. Suchitra will provide strategic guidance on supporting the livelihoods of craftsmen and realize economic development in the field of handlooms and handicrafts through traditional industries. Ms. Ella thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for giving her the opportunity to contribute to one of the most precious departments in the state. She said her goal is to expand the coverage of handloom clusters, redesign modern relevance, and improve the lives of artisans and artists through training, innovation and global exposure. EOM
