Sudden rain and thunderstorms caused severe damage, and lightning killed three people in state

Hyderabad: Life in Hyderabad and several areas was damaged by unexpected heavy rains and thunderstorms, killing Sansheng’s life on Thursday, prompting Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to step in and direct officials to take relief measures.
In Nagarkurnool, two women died after being struck by lightning while working in the field. Sunkari Saidamma (40) and Gajula Veeramma (60) died on the spot, while another woman, Sunkari Laxmamma, was injured. In the Jogulamba Gadwal area, another light strike killed a man in Chandrashekharnagar in Manopad Mandal.
Hyderabad struggles in severe bushes, stagnating traffic in many areas. Many people were seen pushing bicycles on flooded streets while a bus was flooded in a malicious paradise, walls collapsed in Gowliguda, and vehicles parked in Ranigunj were flooded. There are reports that vehicles were washed away on flooded streets.

Traffic changes have been severely affected. At around 3.30 pm, the vehicle crawled near the NMDC due to water supply. This has affected the extension from Mahaveer Hospital to SD Eye Hospital.
Traffic police and GHMC workers managed to clear the bushes at VST, but several other sites were still submerged. One tree collapsed in the old city and the other fell on the automatic city of Karatabad.
Srinivas of Rachakonda DCP said: “With the help of NDRF, GHMC and our transportation team, we have cleared the pool in LB Nagar.
Sai Manohar of DCP Cyberabad added: “Traffic conditions are now under control. We have deployed a unit of 40 people in the main areas.”
Meanwhile, many people avoided shelter under the overpass in Secunderabad to escape from the rain.
In another incident, lightning struck the retaining wall of the Srigdha NVR arcade terrace on Tanaka Dairy Road.
Meanwhile, HMWSSB Managing Director Ashok Reddy directed officials to take precautions to prevent public inconvenience. The emergency response team was highly alert, warning boards were placed near open human holes, and sewer supervisors were stationed at key points.
Hydraa and the DRF team worked to clear the 28 trees that fell and cleared the water stagnant throughout the city. There are 48 stagnant complaints. Nearby, nine obstacles to capture pits were solved.
The DRF team is pre-located in flood-prone areas to ensure fast response time.
