Harmanpreet Kaur, Nat Sciver-Brunt Shine, Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals with 8 times to beat Delhi Capitals record 2nd

In the final of WPL 2025, the Mumbai Indians won the Delhi Capitals with 8 shots.
Harmanpreet Kaur was impressive with 66 in the women’s Premier League final, leading the Mumbai Indians to a second title in just three years, which really put people in the spotlight. On Saturday, March 15, at Braburn Stadium, the Mumbai Indians narrowed their victory with eight runs as Meg Lanning’s side found it difficult to cope with the pressure again.
Even though the Delhi Capitals made it to the finals for the third consecutive year, they couldn’t quite manage to chase the 150 runs set by Mumbai’s strong bowling lineup. Nat Sciver-Brunt held a purple hat this season, showing off her bowling ability, causing the Delhi capital to falter under growing pressure.
Apart from Marizanne Kapp’s 40 runs worthy of 26 goals, the rest of Delhi bats struggled to win the mark in this crucial game. Meg Lanning, Shafali Verma, Jess Jonassen, Jemimah Rodrigues and Annabel Sutherland all fell victim to soft sacks and could not withstand the ruthless attacks of Mumbai bowlers.

In the first inning, the Mumbai Indians’ 149 runs were largely attributed to Harmanpreet Kaur. Despite the early bats from Yastika Bhatia and Hayley Matthews’ Bats playing ic, Harmanpreet not only stabilized the ship, but also triggered a fierce counterattack that led her team to victory.
Harmanpreet faces a tough situation as she sets onto the fields, but shows incredible calmness and resilience. Even though the Mumbai Indians scored the second highest game in the season’s power play and lost two early wickets, Harmanpreet worked with Nat Sciver-Brunt to stabilize the situation and form an impressive 89-time partnership with just 62 goals.
The Mumbai Indians won the victory in the second round with a great bowling match. Shabnim Ismail, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Amelia Kerr are outstanding bowlers, effectively limiting the Delhi capital to 141.
