Mangaluru: Regarding the murder of Suhas Shetty under the jurisdiction of the Bajpe Police Department of Mangaluru City, the case was registered on a case of provocative information forwarded in WhatsApp Group “Mangaluru Muslim Yuva Sene”.
The case has been filed in Moodbidri Police Station under Section 353 (2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The case has now been transferred to the Crime Police Department of Mangaluru City CEN for further investigation.
During the investigation, the police identified Mohammed Anas as a Vittla resident in Dakshina Kannada, the person who forwarded provocative messages in the group. He has been tracked and is currently under question. An investigation is underway.
