Kilikoottam summer camp for the Child Welfare Council starts April 3

Kilikoottam summer camp for child welfare in Kerala has also returned to this summer.

The camp will be held at Thycaud, a lower primary school in the government model, from April 3 to May 25 to make the summer vacation fun and engaging experience for children.

With a caring and friendly childhood theme, this two-month camp will promote the physical and mental health of students and provide a platform for honing and displaying their talents.

Admission will be open to children aged 9-16. Children under the Council’s protection will also attend the camp, which will take place from 9.30am to 5pm until 12.30pm, and will carry out activities that bring together knowledge, entertainment, sports, art and practice activities.

Three age groups

Students will be divided into three age groups – 9 to 10, 11 to 12 and 13 to 16.

Students can engage in creative pursuits such as drama, dance, instrumental music and painting. They will be able to participate in prose and poetry, science, mathematics, origami, agriculture, gain career positioning, learn coding and robotics.

Yoga, mediation, physical exercise, health classes, counseling services to deal with their anxiety and fears. Karate will also be taught. Tours, interact with people from all walks of life and share experiences.

During the last three days of the camp, students will present and showcase what they have learned, made and made at the camp.
