Shailaja Ramaiyer said the state government will award Sri Konda Laxman Bapuji Excellent Handloom Weaving and Design Award.
Applicants for the award must be over 30 years as of December 31, 2024, and have 10 years of experience in handloom weaving. As of December 31, 2024, designers over 25 years of design experience can apply for awards.
Applications must be submitted to Assistant Directors, Handlooms and Textiles by April 15. For more information, interested people can visit www.handtex.telangana.gov.in
