Sunny Deol beat Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham; his second-biggest start score, earning Rs 11 crore

JAAT box office collection day 1: Jatt started off well at the box office under the title of Sunny Deol. Positive comments and good reputation for Jaat. After the morning performance began slowly, the film grew over the course of the day and received a double-digit opening.

Early estimates have been eliminated, and according to Sacnilk, JAAT has registered Rs 9.5 lakh until 11pm until the evening show. In the nighttime show, the film will easily travel through Rs 10 crore and may score between Rs 11-12 crore. Interestingly, however, Sunny got the second largest opening of his career in Jaat, beating Yamla Pagla Deewana’s Rs 780 crore, trailing the Rs 4 billion opening of Gadar 2.

With Jaat, Sunny also beat the biggest star of the year. Sunny surpassed Shahid Kapoor’s Deva (Rs 55 crore) and John Abraham’s Diplomat (Rs 4 crore). However, Jaat failed to beat Salman Khan’s Sikandar (Rs 26 crore) and Chhaava (Rs 31 crore).

When it comes to residence time, JAAT registered a 9.56% occupancy rate in the morning show. In the afternoon, the occupancy rate was 15.41%. The occupancy rate for the evening program is 13.69%. From a positive trend, the film is expected to perform well on the weekend. However, the movie is only one week next Friday, and Akshay Kumar will bring Kesari Chapter 2. The film also caused a buzz, which is expected to open well, which will make Jaat compete.
