Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda movies are further immersed, but crossing the mark of Rs 5 billion in India

Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni, made Rs 5.325 crore in the first six days. In addition to Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, the film also plays Saiyami Kher, Vineet Kumar Singh, Jagapathi Babu, Regina Cassandra and Zarina Wahab, playing key roles.

Action drama Jaat, who played Baldev Pratap Singh aka Jaat and Randeep Hooda as rivals Muthuvel Karikalan Aka Ranatunga, was released in cinemas on Thursday, April 10. Wahab and Upendra Limaye can also be seen in the main supporting characters in the film hosted by Gopichand Malineni. Malineni has previously directed popular Telugu songs such as Veera Simha Reddy, Krack and Bodyguard, marking his Bollywood debut with Jaat.
On the extended four-day opening weekend, the sunny Deol movie received a network of Rs 4025 crore in India. On the first Monday, the collection of action dramas fell by about 50%, and Rs 722 crore was charged. According to early estimates from the industry tracking portal Sacnilk, JAAT has dropped a bit on the sixth day since its launch and received Rs 5.75 crore. This means the film has already spanned Rs 5,000 crore trademarks in India and charged Rs 5,325 crore.
Jaat clashed at the box office with the Tamil action comedy Bad Bad Eugly. Ajith Kumar’s film received over Rs 1,000 crore in the network in India in the first six days and has become the highest-grossing Tamil movie in 2025, with a global box office collection rate of just over Rs 1.7 crore. Interestingly, Jaat and Bood Bad Ugly are funded by the same production company – Mythri filmmakers.
After director Gopichand Malineni, Sunny Deol’s film is on the way. Among them is the work of Aamir Khan and the Rajkumar Santoshi directed Lahore in 1947, the highly anticipated war drama “Border 2”, hosted by Anurag Singh, Ramayana of Nitesh Tiwari, where he will see him playing the role of Lord Hanuman. Ranbir Kapoor and Yash will play Rama and Lord Ravana in the Mythological Epic.
