Jaat box office collection day 3: Headlines by Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh, Jaat May made a good start at the box office on Thursday, expecting a secondary decline on Friday, but the film did a good job on Saturday. As expected, positive reviews and good word of mouth are good for the film, making it more than Rs 30 billion worldwide. Early estimates of the third day were here, with Jaat getting double digits on Saturday, marking a significant increase in domestic collections. Trade tracking portal Sacnilk shared Saturday’s figures. With this trend, we can expect that JAAT will likely grow on Sunday and get another double-digit number on the weekend.
As Sacnilk reported, by 10pm, Jaat made Rs 10 crore on Saturday. The domestic collection volume in the first three days was Rs 2.65 billion. When it comes to global collections, Jaat violated the trademark of Rs 3 billion, with a box office of around Rs 32-33 crore worldwide. When it comes to occupancy, the average occupancy rate for JAAT is 14.28% and Friday’s occupancy rate of 11.19%. On Saturday, morning performances accounted for 7.53% and afternoon performances accounted for 15.97%. The evening show showed better occupancy rate at 16.85%. During those three days, Jaat got the largest occupancy rate on Saturday.
JAAT may not have shown much progress in the series, but Saturday’s spike made it clear that Jaat found success among the masses, especially in the interior areas of India.
