The manufacturer of Sunny Deol-starrer “Jaat” has issued a formal statement about the recent controversy in the film that sparked objections from members of the Christian community.
In response to concerns about religious sensitivity, the manufacturer clarified that the site discussed had been removed, reaffirming their respect for all beliefs and communities. In a statement released Friday, the team behind the sunny Deol-Starrer acknowledged concerns raised by members of the Christian community about a specific scenario that was considered harmful to religious sentiment.
The manufacturer responded quickly to the criticism, clarifying that their intention was by no means disrespectful to any belief or belief system. In the statement, the producer of “Jaat” said: “Anyway, there is a rebound for specific scenes in the film. The scene has been removed from the film, with direct effects. Our intention is to not harm any religious sentiment. We deeply regret that we deeply regret that our swift action for the film has removed the film. We sincerely apologize for the faith of all.
We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been hurt.

The statement was published shortly after the registration of the case against actor Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh and director Gopichand Malineni. The case was filed under Article 299 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in the Sadar Police Station in Jalandhar for allegedly suspected of committing a crime. The complaint was filed by Vikalp Gold, a resident of Pholriwal Village, Jalandhar.
Police complaints say the defendant offended the religious sentiment of the Christian community by copying scenes involving the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus Christ in the film.
Earlier, ADCP headquarters official Sukhwinder Singh confirmed in an official statement that the complaint was filed by Golgotha Gold, a resident of Pholriwal Village in Jalandhar, and a member of the Christian community. The complainant raised objections to specific scenes in the film, claiming that they were offended by the religious beliefs of the community. According to preliminary investigations, five people related to the film were FIR registered.
The controversial scenes show that Randeep Hooda’s character stands under the crucifix inside the church, right above the sacred lecture, while believers are in prayer, an image that has caused intense criticism and accusations of insensitive to religion.
