India has at least 4 Pakistani air bases amid escalating tensions

In its statement the Ministry of Defence said, “Drones have been sighted at 26 locations along the International Border and LoC with Pakistan. These include suspected armed drones. The locations include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozpur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet and Lakhi Nala. Especially in border areas, it is recommended to stay indoors, limit unnecessary movement, and strictly follow safety instructions issued by local authorities without panic, higher vigilance and preventive measures.”
Smoke is seen rising after a loud explosion in the Dipur region in Jamu and Kashmir. In the Rajouri area, houses and other property were damaged after a series of explosions. Rajouri and Akhnoor also heard loud explosions.
Meanwhile, in Punjab, a drone-related explosion damaged a house in Kanganiwal village in the rural Jalandar.
Local resident Surjeet Kaur described the moment of the attack: “There was a red flash above our house, which exploded very much. We were scared. Everything was dark. Almost soon after we came out of the house and saw the water tank above the house, above our house, our house exploded, and there was a fanatical territory. In the targeted civilian infrastructure along the LOC and international borders, Pakistani samba and Patankot departments once again discovered Pakistan. On the evening of May 7-8, Indian troops also successfully neutralized Pakistan’s large-scale drone and missile attacks targeted several Indian military bases in the northern and western regions of the country. During these operations, the air defense system in Lahore was also removed.
India earlier launched a precise strike against Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jamu and Kashmir (POJK), following the Pakistani terrorist attack, the first escalation of Pakistan. Pakistan has now raised its operations, and the Indian Defense Forces have launched a proper counterattack.
