Supporting the reconstruction of AP, NAIDU pleads against No. 16 FC

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandraba Naidu has called on the 16th Finance Committee to expand special financial aid to Andhra Pradesh to enable it to rebuild the country.
“Rebuilding a nation is crucial not only to its future, but to its progress. If you help us today, we will play a key role in India’s success tomorrow,” CM said.
CM warmly welcomed the 16th Finance Committee delegation at the State Secretariat on Wednesday. Later, he explained ongoing projects such as the Amaravati Construction, Polavaram Project and Polavaram-Banakacherla Link projects through the photography exhibition.
Naidu submitted the largest Coastal Finance Commission, Swarnandhra Vision-2047, P4 and GSDP targets to the Finance Commission, setting the 2028-29 GSDP target at 29.229 billion CR, in addition to the problems faced by the state, including huge revenue losses, which was due to the wrong policies adopted by the government last time, including huge revenue losses.
The state needs Rs 470 crore to build Amaravati and irrigation projects including Polavaram, CM said. He urged the committee to recommend sanctions on funds to complete the project.
Naidu said the state has had several problems with several issues of revenue generation because there is no capital. Therefore, the partnership with the people has reached a capital project with global standards. The state government aims to have a growth rate of 15%.
The CM also explained to the delegation the impact of the national fork on Andhra Pradesh, the economic challenges, the country’s economic growth after 2014, development activities and the implementation of welfare programmes.
He explained that due to the policies adopted by the former government since 2019, “the losses suffered by the state and the people”.
“Due to the economic damage caused in the past five years,” CM sought additional financial assistance from the Associated Press. He urged the Football Club delegation to recommend special allocations to the Centre.
Naidu also asked Panagaria to participate in the launch of the Polavaram project.
“The former government has even sanctioned the office of tehsildars, from alcohol sales to borrowing income. Balanced welfare and development, we will get good governance. If you can reach out to help, we will get huge results, we will get huge results, and we will play our role in achieving the goals of Vikasitha Bharath.”
The Football Club delegation expressed their opinions on various topics and appreciated the steps introduced by the state government in WhatsApp-assisted governance. “We will explain WhatsApp governance to the Prime Minister in a meeting with him next month,” they said.
