Suppressing fake doctors in Nalgonda; TGMC FIR archives of 14 clinics

The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) has filed a legal lawsuit against a network of unqualified individuals who work as doctors in the Nargonda area. According to complaints filed by Registrar D. Lalayya Kumar and Chairman K. Mahesh Kumar, Nargonda Police Department has conducted FIRS against 14 clinics without valid certificates.
The defendants allegedly were previously used as compounders who provided unauthorized medical treatments, including the management of injections of antibiotics, steroids and painkillers. Officials say this poses a serious threat to public health and violates the provisions of the National Health Commission Act and the Telangana State Doctor Registration (TSMPR) Act.
The case has been registered under BNS Sections 318 and 319, Articles 34 and 54 and Section 22 of the TSMPR Act. According to Vice Chairman G. Srinivas, this repression is a critical step in protecting public health and ensuring that only certified professionals are allowed to practice medicine. “People’s lives are threatened by people who do not have any medical qualifications,” he said.
