Hyderabad: The Supreme Court has rejected a petition to challenge the Government Order (GO) 29 issued by the Telangana government, clearing the way for the appointment of Group 1.
The petition was filed by aspirants in Group 1 services, which challenged the amendment related to the retention of persons with disabilities. On February 8, the Telangana government issued GO 29, amending certain regulations through No. 55.
With the requested dismissal, the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) can now continue the recruitment process. The committee has released a general ranking list and will start certificate verification at a ratio of 1:2.
