Pakistan Army Director Asim Munir’s remarks “Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein” have aroused a sharp response from India as a foreign ministry spokesman said on Thursday that “the only relationship between Kashmir and Pakistan is a discussion of the country’s illegal occupation of territory”.
Jaiswal said the region is an alliance territory of India and asked how foreign regions could become their “jugate vein”.

Pakistan Army Chief’s “Jugular Vein” Comment
In a viral video on social media, the Pakistani Army chief has a view of the “two-ethnic theory” and calls Kashmir the “jucous vein” of Pakistan.

Speaking at the Overseas Pakistan Conference in Islamabad on Wednesday, Munir said citizens should tell Pakistan’s stories about their children. He added, “Don’t forget” the Pakistan story.
