AAP claims CBI’s plot against Durgesh Pathak attacks fear

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said in a press conference: “The BJP’s attempt to complete the AAP has begun again. They have been jailed, arrested our leaders, arrested our top leaders, and now our PAC members and Gujarat Co-Enargee Chonggesh Durgesh Pathak were attacked by the CBI. The only reason is that AAP is AAP.
Singh claimed that when Pathak began to hold meetings in Gujarat to strengthen the party’s base, the BJP responded by sending the central agency to him.
BJP did not respond immediately to AAP’s allegations.
Officials say the CBI is conducting a search for suspected violations of foreign funding norms.
They said the agency had conducted a case against him against him for alleged violations of the Foreign Contribution Act.
“It is no coincidence that the CBI raided his responsibility for Gujarat elections 2027 at the home of Durgesh Pathak, which is not a coincidence, it is a conspiracy, it is a fear,” said Manish Sisodia, senior AAP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, on X.
Atishi, the leader of the Delhi parliamentary opposition, also condemned the raid.
She posted on X: “Once AAP starts preparing for the election in Gujarat, the CBI arrives at Durgesh Pathak, co-head of Gujarat. This shows the frustration of the BJP.”
Pathak won a seat at the Rajinder Nagar conference in 2022 and lost to BJP’s Umang Bajaj in the 2025 election. During the 2022 General Assembly elections, he was also the head of AAP’s AAP’s Goa.
AAP has since sought five seats and a 14% voting share in the 2022 Gujarat Parliamentary Poll.
