Stockholm: Swedish police said three people were confirmed dead after the shooting in Uppsala, a city near Stockholm on Tuesday, and investigated the incident as a murder.
Swedish media reported that the perpetrators were reportedly hunting for the perpetrators, and the perpetrators reportedly fled the electric scooter.
Police said in a statement that they received calls from the public, reporting hearing loud bangs reminiscent of gunfire in the middle of Uppsala, a university town north of the capital Stockholm.
Photos at the scene show the police outside a barber shop called “Shalom”.
When the police launched the investigation, police blocked a large area.
There were no immediate indications of motives and police statements did not provide detailed information about the alleged perpetrators.
