Defense Minister Rajnath Singh praised Operation Singh on Sunday and claimed that Indian armed forces had dealt a decisive blow to anti-Indian elements in Pakistan. Rajnath Singh actually opened the Brahmos aerospace integration and testing facility in Lucknow.
Singh described the Sindoor action as a testament to India’s political will, military strength and zero tolerance policy for terrorism. “Today, India is one of the most powerful countries in the world. We have been increasing our strength. Those who oppose India and terrorist organizations that attack our country and suffer from many families, the Indian armed forces have made them justice through actions. The entire country is paying tribute to the courage of the Indian troops today,” Rajnath Singh said. ”
Operation Sindor is not only a military action, but also a symbol of Indian politics, society and military willpower. This action demonstrates India’s firm determination and military power against terrorism. ” he stressed.
The Defense Minister stressed that the action shows that whenever India takes action against terrorism, even the territory on the border will no longer be safe for terrorists and their masters.
“The Indian forces launched Operation Sindoor with the objective of destroying the terrorist infrastructure present in Pakistan. We never targeted their ordinary citizens. But Pakistan not only targeted Indian civilian areas, it also attempted attacks on Temples and Gurudwaras. In response, the Indian forces displayed courage and restraint, and struck at various other locations in Pakistan, giving a fitting reply,” Rajnath Singh said.
“We did not limit our operations to military posts near the border, the echo of India’s military operations was in Rawalpindi, where the Pakistani army headquarters was located. The world saw what happened to those who attempted to suffer terrorist attacks in India after the Uri attack, and our troops had a Pulwama in Pakistan, which had happened in Pulwama in Pulwama. The world has witnessed India’s multiple strikes within Pakistan,” Rajnath Singh asserted.
He further stated that after the zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that this is a “new India” that will take effective terrorist actions within the border and throughout the border.
India launched Operation Sindor on May 7 in response to the terrible terrorist attack in Pahargam on April 22, which claimed 26 lives. India attacked nine terrorist sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jamu and Kashmir. Pakistan is trying to upgrade with a series of unprovoked artillery and drones to boost the ante.
