Lalit Manchanda dies in suicide
TV and film actor Lalit Manchanda died Monday, April 21 in his hometown of Meerut. His death is still under investigation as no suicide notice has been found. Early investigations showed that there was no foul game or external participation.
According to Amar Ujala, Lalit Manchanda has been performing on TV shows in Mumbai since the past 12 years. In the recent past, he has struggled financially and moved back to Meerut six months ago. For the same reason, he experienced mental stress and the police pointed out these reasons behind the suicide.
CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists’ Association) expressed condolences for the actor’s death on his official Instagram account. Cintaa shared photos of Lalit Manchanda, who wrote: “Cintaa expresses condolences to the demise of Lalit Manchanda (since 2012 member #Contaa #Condolence #Condolence #restinpeace #rip #rip.”
