Tahawwur Rana’s interrogation could lead to Nia reasking David Headley in 26/11 attack

Headley, who entered the plea deal, could not be extradited to India, Pakistan or Denmark, and during his detention in the United States in 2010, the NIA was questioned once. According to a senior official who tracked the investigation, Rana was investigated for her role in episode 26/11, especially with the connection between agents Hafiz Saeed, Zakir Ur Rehman Lakhvi, Abdur Rehman, Abdur Rehman, Abdur Rehman, Ilyas Kashmiri, ISI officer Major Samir Ali Ali Ali and Major Iqbal and Major Iqbal and Dubai. These elements are not part of the U.S. Department of Justice’s official profile.
“If Headley needs to be questioned again based on what Rana reveals, the agency will decide and decide when needed,” the official told TOI’s Bharti Jain.
Rana has previously used health-related arguments in U.S. courts to postpone his extradition. In India, Nia undergoes medical examinations every 48 hours during detention. Sources confirmed Lana is working together, but usually refers to his medical condition.
Nia asked Headley’s former Home Secretary GK Pillai told The Indian era“Headley is the main link between Rana and the 26/11 conspiracy and will regularly update the latter regarding the terrorist plans and reconnaissance skills of Pakistan’s handling personnel.”
Headley first informed Rana of his mission from the “Investigation on Potential Targets of Let India” in 2006. Rana, a deserter of the Pakistani army, joined the horror plot by facilitating Headley’s trip and allowing his immigration business as the cover of Indian and Denmark’s reconnaissance missions. The NIA’s ongoing interrogation of RANA is being closely watched, and any future moves involving Headley may depend on how U.S. authorities respond to other requests.
