Tahsildar

Hyderabad: The Mancherial Regional Government has put the Ramesh of Nennel Tahsildar in a pause as he formally changed the name of a living person who was dead and changed the details of more than three acres of Patta land to another person in Dharani Portal.
The order to suspend Tahildar was immediately issued after the preliminary investigation. The incident sparked panic among villagers in the area, prompting them to reverify their land records.
Ramesh created a false record of land after changing the details of the portal, a one-stop destination for agricultural land transactions. In addition to Tahsildar, the government also rejected the service of the portal operator Uday and a private employee, a senior official confirmed, seeking anonymity.
Ramesh’s fraud was revealed when the landowner complained to Deepak Kumar, a regional collector who explored the problem. In a preliminary investigation, officials found Tahildar guilty.
The main reason behind Ramesh’s fraud has not been determined, the official said. The official added that the ongoing investigation will reveal the intentions of Ramesh and those behind him.
