MND said Tuesday that 27 PLA aircraft, nine planned ships and one ship were found near Taiwan until 6 a.m.
According to Taiwan’s MND, 27 aircraft crossed the middle line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the northern and southwestern Taiwan.
In response to China’s activities, Taiwan’s armed forces deployed aircraft, naval ships and coastal missile systems to monitor the situation.

The incident comes after a recent upgraded action pattern by China around Taiwan, sparking concerns about regional stability as Beijing continues to advocate for its claims on the island. Taiwan has ruled independently since 1949. However, China believes that part of Taiwan is part of its territory and insists on final reunification when necessary.
Last week, Taiwan’s ruling party is increasingly afraid of Chinese espionage activities amid visits to China, especially Hong Kong and Macau, according to a report by Radio Asia (RFA).
