Airline AP Singh Marshal AP Singh (CAS) highlights the need to take innovative measures to address security challenges.

At the Southern Air Command Commander Meeting held on Wednesday (12 March 2025) in Thiruvananthapuram, the air leaders drew attention from commanders, and the mixed nature of future wars has attracted attention in which the scope of conflict may be spread across multiple areas.

He urged them to keep pace with global developments in space, cyber and electronic warfare. He also stressed the need to enhance capabilities and leverage the full potential of human resources.

During the meeting, the air leader briefly covered various issues, including air defense in the southern region, operational preparations for SACs, and enhanced sea air transport capabilities. A defense spokesman said CAS praised SAC for maintaining a credible operating posture and its contribution to humanitarian aid and disaster relief across the southern peninsula.
