Airtel’s network dropped in several areas of Tamil Nadu on Tuesday (May 13, 2025) and did not recover until 11pm
Consumers cannot call each other. However, the mobile data service is running.
Consumers from Madurai and Coimbatore posted X and posted a message saying their network had declined. Consumers also complain that they cannot post on X using #AIRTEL_DOWN through customer service.
Airtel’s public relations team did not provide details about what happened.
