Up to 30 devotees were seriously injured in a bus accident near Chandragiri Mandal in Tirupati on Sunday evening (May 11, 2025). Sources said the APSRTC bus at Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, lost control and hit the culvert in the Agarala Highway Road culvert, sources said.
Chandragiri police officers arrived at the scene immediately. The injured person was taken to Ruia Hospital in Tirurupati. Most of them are children.
