New Delhi: Member of Congress Shashi Tharoor, who was nominated by the government to lead the diplomatic delegation but not named after the parliament, digging his own party, said: “I am honored that the Indian government has brought the entire party delegation to the five major capitals.
“My party leadership has the right to think about my ability or lack of ability, and I think it is really to explain them. I absolutely have no comments,” the MP said.
The BJP rubbed salt at the Congress wound, saying: “The choice of Congress to represent India at the diplomatic meeting is not only attractive, but also suspicious.”
