Tata Consumer Products Limited (TCPL) released a net profit of Rs 2677.1 crore between January and March of fiscal year 2023-24

Tata Group is one of the largest groups in India, and exists in multiple sectors including automobiles, fast-moving consumer goods, etc. The group continues to expand its operations in other sectors. The group’s FMCG division, TATA Consumer Products Ltd (TCPL), reported that consolidated net profit for the set will increase to Rs 4,070.7 billion in just three months due to higher revenues. The company said in exchange filings that the company’s after-tax net profit after-tax for the January-March period of fiscal 2023-24 was Rs 26.771 crore. Net profit was Rs 13,8031 crore throughout the fiscal year, up from Rs 13,0099 crore of Rs 2,300 crore.

As of April 23, TCPL’s current market value is Rs 1.14 crore. The company’s share price is Rs 1,145. Its total revenue rose to Rs 46,647.3 billion from Rs 39,653.9 billion in the same period last year. In the same period last fiscal year, the total expense was Rs 41,8035 crore, while Rs 34,5593 crore. The board also recommended that the dividend per share for fiscal year 2024-25 be Rs 1.25 per share. If the dividend is approved by shareholders at the subsequent 62nd Annual General Meeting, it will be paid/distributed on or after June 21, 2025.
