TCS appoints Sudeep Kunnumal as new chief human resources officer to replace Milind Lakkad pension

The country’s largest IT Services Player TCS announced Thursday that the experienced Sudeep Kunnumal will take over as head of current Milind Lakkad’s key human resources functions after retirement.

Kunnumal will lead the human resources function in the largest verticals of banking, financial services and insurance, and he will serve as chief human resources officer starting Friday, a statement said.

The company said he will “take over as chief human resources officer after Milind Lakkad retires”.

The exact date for Lakkad, who has served as CHRO since 2019, is unknown.

TCS is the country’s largest private-sector employer with over 600,000 people working.

Kunnumal holds a Master of Human Resource Management from Madurai Kamaraj University and works in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Kunnumal has attracted and retained top talents throughout his career and has engaged in transformative work on talent mastery, the company said.
