TD MLA Ganta’s Travel Dilemma Online Buzz

Hyderabad: Former Minister and Telugu (TD) MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao entered social media and shared his frustrating travel experience while trying to arrive at Amaravati from Visakhapatnam (Via Hyderabad).
In a mailing to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Minister Nara Lokesh and Trade Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Rao details his travel torture. He explained that he departed from Visaka Patnam Airport at 8 a.m. to Hyderabad and then arrived at Vijayawada before 1 p.m.
He noted that even CII and FICCI representatives who arranged for the meeting of the Chief Ministers must follow the same indirect route through Hyderabad. Rao said the inconvenience was due to the two morning flights between Vishaka Patnam and Vijayavada, coupled with the unavailability of Tuesday’s Van der Bharat train.
The post sparked a series of reactions from users on X (formerly Twitter). One user commented that the Vizag-Vijayawada route is unprofitable due to low passenger flow. Another questioned the MLA’s decision, saying, “Sir Y wasted a lot of time. You might just walk.” A third user explicitly asked, “No need to vent here, why not build a business case and discuss it with Ram Mohan Naidu?”
