Teachers’ proposed protests on May 21 gain support

Members of the Forum on Registered Teachers Organizations (FORTO) announced their support for a proposed protest plan announced by the Teachers Association from May 21 to 23.

At a meeting held online, representatives from various teacher organizations were seriously concerned about decisions related to the school’s restructuring plan and the reassignment of teaching staff in the state. They said that after strong opposition to the government No. 117 issued by the YSRCP government, then opposition leader N. Chandrababu Naidu promised to abolish the trip, but the fresh GO 21 proved to be several components of the alternative and was harmful to the interests of the school education sector and teachers.

They said that parallel media systems should continue, and they said that positions of teachers on study abroad should not be included in the vacant position list, as the former will return to their respective job locations.

Their other requirements include the 2016 Act for teachers with disabilities and the approval of every high school principal and physical director position regardless of student strength.

Forum Chairman K. Harikrishna, Secretary-General A. Kondayya and others were present.
