The report said that even though 24% of businesses remain neutral, organizations increasingly use LGBTQIA+ inclusion as their core workforce strategy.
The Electronic Systems and Electrical sector is one of the departments leading this change, with 71% of employers showing strong desire to be an LGBTQIA+ apprentice.
“Consistent focus on expanding apprenticeship programs and consolidating stronger industries-the college collaboration is crucial to creating a workforce that aligns with the needs of evolving industry. In view of this, the company is expanding its recruitment framework to integrate a diverse talent pool and ensure sustainable talent growth.”
According to these findings, more than 72% of employers actively recruit LGBTQIA+ apprentices, followed by Biotech, Pharma and Pharma and Life Sciences industries, with 66% accepting inclusive recruitment practices.
