Teenage girl defeats the liar with her own skills
She shared a video on X in which the girl was seen talking to a liar on the phone, who pretended to be the girl’s father’s friend. However, to the scammer’s surprise, she immediately realized the scam, but revealed the scam intact. First, the man tried to convince the teenager that her father asked him to transfer the money to her UPI account. What he said should be Rs 12,000.
He proved the transaction by sending her a fake text message, which was Rs 10,000. However, the girl is smart and is actively monitoring the situation, which makes her realize the reality of information from private numbers rather than from banks. The fraudster then acted wrongly to send her Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 2,000 so that she could pay him a return of Rs 18,000. The girl reacted quickly and edited the same message, replacing the early deal with Rs 18,000 and sending the message back to the stranger. “Where I sent you Rs 18,000 too,” she said.
This reveals the man’s wrongdoing, which he easily admits to his losses and says, “Maan Gaya Main Aapko, Beta” and hangs down without continuing further. The girl’s post describes the incident, with netizens’ praise for the teenagers’ courage and Quickwit’s popularity.
