With elections in Bihar Parliament to be held in about six months, all political parties are intensifying preparations. RJD is known in Bihar as the “oldest ally” of the parliament and is also part of the Indian group.

The RJD-Congress conference is expected to be held at Kharge’s residence. The president of Congress is expected to hold a public rally in the Buxar district of Bihar on April 20.

It is worth noting that Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar raised the issue of immigration in Bihar, rallying with the “Naukri Do” urged the state government to stop immigration and promote job creation for young people. On April 7, Kumar joined Rahul Gandhi to attend Yatra in Begusarai.

On March 30, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav for conducting “Jungle Raj” and corruption between 1990 and 2005 in a poll of the Bihar Party in Bihar. Shah will spend two more days in Bihar since the meeting on March 30 to prepare for the polls.

On April 13, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the NDA meeting to discuss parliamentary elections. Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary also attended the meeting.

A high-stakes battle with the National Democratic League (NDA) is expected to be held in Bihar; Janata Dal (Manchester United) led by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and the Bharatiya Janata party fight a coalition composed of Parliament, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the left.

Elections in the state are expected to take place between October and November, however, no date for the poll has been announced.
