Telangana Board of Education Flag Flaws in NEP 2020

A seminar organized by the Telangana Education Commission put forward objections to the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, calling it “ideologically driven, financially misleading and structurally flawed.”

“NEP does not Locus stands. Its content was neither discussed with the state government nor debated in parliament. It was simply approved by the union cabinet. It bypasses the Central Committee for Education (CABE) and makes it infinite. Professor Shantha Sinha, former chairman of the National Committee on the Protection of Child Rights, said.

“The policy emphasizes the outcome, and it does not recognize that results cannot be achieved without the necessary input. There are multiple exit systems (MEESs) in the UG program from 3 to 4 years, and the policy document does not discuss affordability and accessibility issues,” G. Professor Haragopal, former former professor at the University of Hyderabad.

Chairman Akunuri Murali IAS (Retired) Chairman Telangana Board of Education, chaired the first education policy aimed at demolishing the publicly funded education system. “If schools spending and higher education are so low, quality education cannot be promoted.

“Political recommendations will lead to acute commercialization and centralization. Centralized entrance exams are another point of control in terms of syllabus and stratification,” said Kodanandaram MLC.

The meeting reached a consensus that the current form of NEP 2020 is not suitable for India’s diverse and unequal educational landscape.
