Telangana CM plans statewide tour

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that he will start a comprehensive regional tour from May 1 to June 2, interacting with the public and highlighting the achievements of the Congressional administration over the past 16 months.
“If we want to win the next parliamentary election, we must start interacting with the people immediately. If we don’t reach them, all our excellent work will be nothing.”
The Chief Minister directed a meeting here to the Congress Legislature (CLP) to hold intensive grassroots publicity among their respective parliamentary voters from April 16 to June 2. Portal.
Revanth Reddy said the responsibility of all elected representatives is to inform citizens of the main initiatives and decisions of the Congressional government. “It’s important to do a good job, but it’s also crucial to make sure people know that,” he added.
Revanth Reddy announced that he will personally participate in public publicity during the tour from May 1 to June 2. In addition, he directed MLAS to prepare detailed reports on the development needs of its assembled voters and to ensure that the government will be responsible for completing these projects.
He called the “Sanna Biyyam” distribution plan a landmark welfare plan, comparing its long-term impact with the long-term impact of Program 2 per kilogram introduced by then Chief Minister NT Rama Rao. He urged the Party leaders to ensure that the benefits of the plan and other programs reach every qualified citizen.
Revanth Reddy highlighted the Indiramma housing program, calling it a “national role model” and stressed the need to identify real beneficiaries to ensure that the houses are allocated to the poor families they deserve.
He also noted that the landmark decision of the Congressional administration, including conducting a caste census to address a century-old problem and enact legislation to provide 42% reservations to undermine weaker areas of education, employment and political representation. “This reflects our commitment to transparency and inclusive governance,” he said.
Regarding the issue of the SC subcategory, the Chief Minister said that the government had deliberately put the new work notifications on the ground starting in August 2024 until the SC classification bill was passed in the Legislative Assembly and demonstrated its commitment to social justice.
