Telangana faces extreme heatwave conditions

Hyderabad: As the north wind dries, the temperature in Telangana is rising significantly. Between March 27 and 30, the northern and eastern regions are expected to see temperatures soaring between 41°C and 43°C, while Hyderabad may experience altitudes of 38°C to 40°C.

On Wednesday, several regions reported shocking temperatures: Adilabad recorded 41.0°C, Nizamabad 40.9°C, Bhadradri Kothagudem 40.7°C and Kamareddy 40.6°C. Temperatures between 38.5°C and 38.6°C are achieved in areas such as Hyderabad, Charminar, Uppal, Begumpet and Mehdipatnam.

These figures are significantly higher than Hyderabad’s historical March average maximum of about 35°C. IMD has released heat wave consultations for several regions. This temperature surge is part of the weather patterns affecting various parts of India.
