Telangana Govt announces Rs 5 lakh relatives of Gulzar Houz Fire victims

Hyderabad: The Telangana government announced that the close relatives of each fire accident in a building in Gulzar Houz near Charminar paid Rs 5 lakh on Sunday morning. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, accompanied by Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Damodara Raja Narasimha, inspected the scene of the accident on the instructions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

The Deputy Chief Minister spoke to the media, expressing pain for the tragic incident and expressing condolences to the families of the deceased. “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is coordinating with all relevant departments to monitor the situation. Preliminary reports indicate that the fire was caused by a short circuit,” he said.

The fire department received a call in distress at 6:16 a.m., and at 6:17 a.m., the crew of the Mograpura fire truck was dispatched to arrive at the scene at 6:20 a.m. to start the rescue operation. “There were 11 fire trucks and a fire robot deployed, involving 70 firefighters. Their quick response helped control the severity of the incident before further escalation,” Barty said. He described the incident as very unfortunate and promised that the government would support the victims’ families.
