Telangana HC gains awareness of unpaid pension

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court filed Suo Motu case against the unpaid pension incident of the late Kurapati Pandurangayya, the retired principal of the Zilla Parishad Girls' High School in Enkoor Mandal, Khammam district.

The court of the Telangana High Court, consisting of Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul and Judge Renuka Yara, issued a notice to the Special Chief Secretary, Finance, School Education Commissioner and Principal Accountant Hen, directing them to respond to the notice and provide reasons for unpaid pensions to compensate for unpaid benefits.

Although Pandurangayya retired in July 2024, he did not receive a pension for the warehouse even after nine months. He died recently due to illness treatment. The news report mentioned that Pandurangayya was frustrated due to several issues, one of which was retirement benefits.

The High Court filed a lawsuit by converting news reports on the death of the pending retirement amount of Pandurangayya's death.
