Despite the ceasefire, drone bans around RGIA continue

Cyberabad police have imposed a blanket ban on flying drones, para-liders and micro-lighting aircraft within a 10-km radius of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad.
The order was issued by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Avinash Mohanty and will continue to take effect from May 10 to June 9. Officials clarified that despite an immediate ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the orders would remain in effect to prevent potential threats.
This was the second day after authorities received an anonymous scam bomb threat on Friday, leading to inspections by Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) personnel, local police and bomb squads. The order states that any violation will lead to legal action under relevant chapters.
The Hyderabad Commission issued a similar order later that day until further orders.
