Telangana signs agreement with Japanese company to establish Eco Town in Hyderabad

The Telangana government and leading Japanese companies will work together to build an eco-town in Hyderabad. Letter of Intent (LOI) between the two is signed in the fields of circular economy, waste management, recycling and environmental restoration.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared that it was one of the most polluted cities in the world, transforming into one of the cleanest cities during his visit to Kitakyushu. The Telanganarising delegation, led by the Chief Minister, began to tour Japan on April 16. On Saturday (19 April 2025), the delegation took a bullet train trip to Kitakyushu. Mayor Kitakyushu of Kazuhisa Takeuchi was welcomed by the ceremony.
“Today, when we shake hands, we are building a bridge to benefit two cities (two societies). We are making an impact on future generations. We have a vision – clean, clean, circular, green and sustainable. Your eco-town shows the possibility that it may be consistent with commitment when innovating. I want to make sure that the same cities for Hyderabad and future target cities,” he aims to be Net net net Zero,” said Mr Reddy.
Companies such as Ex Research Institute, P9 LLC, Nippon Steel Engineering, New Chemical Trading and Amita Holdings agreed with the Telangana government on its investment options.

He assured that the Kitakyushu government and the company will be happy to work with Hyderabad and Telangana to share their knowledge, processes, techniques and experience to help Telangana quickly move to the highest levels of environmental engineering, safety and recovery.
