Sweet oranges are identified as one of the Nalgonda products: MOFPI

Hyderabad: The Ministry of Food Processing Industry (MOFPI) told Thursday that sweet oranges (Odop) in the Nalgonda district of Telangana has been identified based on the recommendations of the Telangana government.

The state government was elected by the state government as the Odd of Nargonda because of its suitability for farming, high productivity and crop advantages in the region.

This is what the food processing industry minister Chirag Paswan said while answering the question raised by MP Kunduru Raghuveer in Lok Sabha.

According to Paswan, the Department of Food Processing Industry (MOFPI) has been expanding financial assistance to provide demand-driven research and development (R&D) efforts and standardization of various factors for the welfare food processing industry in terms of product and process development, effective technology, improved packaging, value-added, and more.

However, MOFPI has not received a research and development proposal from the Telangana government, nor has it supported the development of bitter bitterness from the Central Institute of Food Technology (CFTRI), Mysuru and the Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (now renamed Niftem), Thanjavur, Thanjavur, Thanjavur, Thanjavur, Thanjavur, support technology to develop bitterness to reduce the bitterness of sweet orange juice.

To change the Odemp in Nalgonda, the state government must submit a recommendation to the MOFPI. However, such recommendations have not been received from the Telangana government.

Organizations such as Central and State PSUs, Joint Ventures, Farmers Producers Organizations (FPOs), NGOs, Cooperatives, SHGs, Private Limited and Personal Ownership Companies, including individual farmers, are eligible to obtain financial support or incentives under the PMFME program of the terms and conditions specified in the Program Guidance Program.
