Telugu inscription found in Nallamala forest in Dornala village

Vijayawada: The inscription of Telugu is engraved on a flat plate found in the Nallamala forest near the village of Dornala in the Prakasam district.
The inscription is written in Telugu language, with the characters dated 1440, Bahudhanya, Ashada, Su 15, Monday, related to 1518 Common Era on June 23.
It records the excavated wells and the sewage puddles built for the temple lands of Sri Parvata god Sri Parvatayani in Velanga Parvatanayani to achieve the merits of its owner Kemi Devuni Lingaya, supervisor Kemi Devuni Lingaya and his older wife Yallamma. Kemideva is the agent of Pontiff Siddha Bhikshavritti Ayyamgaru of Srisailam Virasaiva Mutt.
