Terrorism has a bad outbreak on Pakistan, its people and regions: Britain tells Pakistan

New Delhi: At a meeting with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Islamabad, Islamabad, the UK sought to mediate the lasting peace between India and Pakistan and told Islamabad to take counter-terrorism actions, calling it a “terrible post” for the country, its people and the region.
Learned the British minister told Pakistan about the actions against terrorist groups and worked for a continued ceasefire. He added that his government is determined to play a role in fighting terrorism and ensure that this fragile ceasefire between India and Pakistan becomes a lasting peace.
The British Foreign Secretary is on a two-day visit to Pakistan to ease tensions and help it negotiate with India to resolve the latest conflict. This is the first time the British Foreign Secretary has visited Pakistan since 2021 as the British government pushes for a “fragile ceasefire into lasting peace”.
Before heading to Pakistan, Mr. Lammy spoke with Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar.
Mr Rami had frequent contact with the Indian government on Thursday and was engaged to Mr Jaishankar on Thursday, the day before he traveled to Islamabad, the British Foreign Office said in a statement. The statement added that the British Foreign Secretary will hope to travel to New Delhi as soon as possible to establish the strength of the India-UK partnership.
However, India has made it clear that it targeted terrorist camps after the brutal Pahargam attack on Indian tourists on April 22. The understanding of the ceasefire between the two armies will end on Sunday, with the directors of the Indian and Pakistan military operations scheduled to talk again.
During his two-day visit to Islamabad, Rami said the UK will also continue to work with Pakistan to fight terrorism, while saying it is “a terrible danger to the country and its people, and of course the region”.
Although India has stepped up efforts to support Pakistan’s international support for “hiding terrorist networks”, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister briefed the unreasonable and belligerent actions to the British Foreign Minister… “Pakistan’s counterattack is “proportional, limited, limited, and cautiously avoiding civilian markets.” ”
Mr Rami wrote on X on Saturday: “The important visit to Pakistan has been made after the close welcome to the ceasefire with India. Due to the close ties between our countries, the UK is determined to play our role with India, Pakistan and international partners to help fight terrorism and ensure the lasting of this peace.”
“I have a clear message about India, Pakistan and international partners. A ceasefire must be maintained. There is no interest in further conflicts.”
“These are two neighbors with a long history, but they are two neighbors who have been almost impossible to talk to each other in this past period, and we want to make sure we don’t see further escalation and keep the ceasefire lasting,” Rammy told Reuters.
In India’s moratorium on the Indian Waters Treaty, he urged all parties to “fulfil their treaty obligations.”
The British Foreign Office said in a statement that Mr Rami’s visit to Islamabad was to welcome the ceasefire and “clearly stated that further conflicts are in the interest of anyone.”
“The British government welcomes the ongoing ceasefire between Pakistan and India, both of which are important partners of the UK, and the Foreign Secretary asserted the importance of continued stability in the region during his visit to Pakistan… The Foreign Minister praised the steps taken by Pakistan and India in the cancellation of the hostile agreement,” the statement said.
“…It’s certainly true that India and Pakistan – good friends of the UK – both agreed to pause the hostilities and keep the ceasefire going. Due to the close and historic links between our population and our government, we are determined to play our role in counter-terrorism and ensure that this fragile ceasefire becomes a durable peace.”
Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif acknowledged that India has reached a crucial air base. “On the evening of May 9-10, General Asim Munir called me on the security line around 2.30am and told me that India had fired its ballistic missile not long ago. One person hit Nur Khan Air Base and some areas hit others,” Sharif said at an event in Pakistan. He expressed his willingness to sit with India and talk about controversial issues.
