The UPSC exam is one of the most challenging exams in India, with countless aspirations competing for success every year. Success in these exams is not a small feat, and some people show this resilience and determination at every stage. In this article, we delve into Neha Byadwal’s journey, who fulfills her dream of becoming an IAS official through a unique and focused approach.
In today's digital age, social media and mobile phones are essential, but very distracting. Neha Byadwal, now an IAS official, tried the UPSC Civil Service Examination (CSE) for the first time, and this was her first attempt. Recognizing the impact of distraction on her preparation, Neha decided to quit social media and drastically restricted her phone use for three years to focus on preparing for one of India’s toughest exams.
Born in Jaipur, Rajasthan and raised in Chhattisgarh, Neha joined the public service from his father Shravan Kumar, senior income tax official Shravan Kumar. Due to his father's transferable work, Neha attended several schools in different states during her education. After she took the college top hat at DB Girls College in Raipur, she turned her eyes to the UPSC exam.
However, her path to success is far from stable. Neha failed in the first three attempts. To achieve her goals, she sacrificed her social life, eliminated distractions, and was fully committed to her mission. Despite clearing the Staff Selection Committee (SSC) exam, her focus remains firmly accorded to becoming an IAS official.
In 2021, her perseverance was given its fourth attempt. Neha scored 960 points at the age of 24, including 151 points, and scored 569 All India Rankings (AIR) in the interview. Neha’s journey from failure to success proves the perseverance, dedication and sacrifice required to achieve a dream.
